Function
1. Position the wheels
Fix the front wheels in the correct position, constrain the front and rear, left and right displacement of the wheels, and ensure that the wheel's walking trajectory does not deviate.
2. Connect the car body to the sheep horn
One end is connected to the subframe/body, and the other end is connected to the steering knuckle (sheep horn), which is a key force transmission component of the suspension.
3. Buffer and shock absorption
The rubber lining on the swing arm filters out road bumps, vibrations, and noise, improving driving comfort.
4. Bearing load and stress
Carrying the weight of the vehicle, it can withstand impacts, lateral forces, and longitudinal tension when passing through potholes, turning, and braking, stabilizing the chassis.
5. Ensure handling and braking
Suppress body roll during turning, prevent front end nodding and wheel shaking during braking, improve steering accuracy and braking stability.
